Custom Fabrication
- Problem-solving is a Spirit strength. We can design any part
and create it from raw materials. We integrate our fabrications
into your existing systems so that they aesthetically and functionally
work together as a symbiotic whole. We think ahead to accommodate
other systems in your vehicle. We listen to how you plan to use
your vehicle, and then design and fabricate to meet your needs.
Conversions
- At Spirit, all conversions are possible. We specialize in engine,
transmission, steering, rear-end, and suspension conversions.
We make all the parts fit and work together. In all applications,
we try to use factory-parts when appropriate, so anyone can work
on your vehicle.
Specialty Vehicles
- In a brief departure from its off-road focus, Spirit recently
completed four specialized vehicles for Toyota Motorsports. The
vehicles, designed for the first on the scene in racing emergency
situations, start out as V8-equipped Toyota Tundra Pickups, and
then undergo some radical changes as they become emergency response
vehicles for the popular CART open-wheel racing series.
The crew at Spirit
lowered the suspension, installed Bilstein Toyota shocks, a fire
hose reel, and rear seating for safety personnel. They custom
fabricated the light bar, rear bumper, and storage containers
to hold fire extinguishers, jaws of life, medical supplies, and
other emergency response items.
